June 9, 2008

  • Although this site is still being maintained (ie., correcting data based upon later information, spelling errors, etc.) substantial improvements have been put on hold due to personal reasons.

None of the information on this site is out of date but some of the pages need additional photographs and there are additional locations and leaders sections that I wish to add.

I hope to improve the site considerably during the summer.

I trust you that you will come back often.

November 22, 2007 / December 4, 2007

  • A new section Lee's Retreat is being created. The new section encompasses the current Sailor's Creek section. Accordingly, they have been combined. I say "being created" because the new section still needs work and additional photographs which I will be providing shortly.

September 16, 2007

  • Added comments about dividing the Museum of the Confederacy into three separate museums, around the state, in my Opinions section.

July 22, 2007

  • Added photographs of the location of Lee's last bivouac, after Appomattox, to the Appomattox and Lee sections.

May 21, 2007

  • Added photographs of the new visitor center at Fort Harrison, and the removal of the old one, to the Fort Harrison page.

  • An update is needed.

Due to personal distractions, I have not made any major updates recently. However, I have been making minor upgrades and corrections. Now, with the resolution of most of these distractions, you should notice an increase in upgrade activity in the near future.

Thanks for visiting the site, and come back often to check for updates, since I am now devoting more time to it.
