This stone, near the Chancellorsville National Park Service vistors center, marks the location, as determined in 1888, where Stonewall Jackson fell.

A Monument indicating where Jackson fell (c1890). - D About 10 yards west of the 1888 quartz marker (above), this monument is beside the Orange Turnpike, Route 3, as indicated on the print by John House (on the right).		The Place were Stonewall Jackson fell, mortally wounded. A print by John House c1890. The five men on horse-drawn carriage in foreground are on the Orange Turnpike.
